This afternoon we packed up the RV and headed over to Hill City, SD to spend the next week at Bar J RV Park. We were planning on doing the Black Hills and Badlands of SD while we were here. We pulled into our RV site and was just really enjoying our view. This place was beautiful and huge!!
I loved the area we were parked in. The playground was literally right behind our RV so we could sit at our site and watch Garrett playing. He was loving his freedom!!
That night after we finished setting up we headed into Hill City, SD to have dinner at the Alpine Inn. This restaurant only serves 2 entrees that you choose from. You can either get steak or a german dish. We all chose the steak and it did not disappoint. So yummy!! We then walked around town for a little bit where we saw these horses made out of tools. It was really neat!!
Was a really great day, but off to bed for us. Tomorrow we will be heading to Mount Rushmore with an early morning start!!
