So today the plan was to head out to the Boston RV Show. Garrett's all ready to head out with his Kindle, headphones and snack. We got to the Expo Center about 10:30 and headed inside. Today they were honoring the military so Tim being a Veteran got in for free. Garrett of course is usually free anyhow so we only had to pay for my ticket. Cost was about $15 which in our opinion isn't too bad. We were hoping they would have the Grand Design Solitude RV that we've been wanting to check out. We headed inside. Lot's of different RV's to look at. For us though we were only interested in the 5th Wheels or 5th wheel toy haulers. They did have some Grand Design's but not our specific floor plan that we were interested in. They had a rep from Grand Design at the show and he spent about an hour talking with us. I can honestly say I am very impressed with their company and will probably be purchasing from them in the very near future. The floor plan we wish they would have had was this one. We are really loving the mid bunk rooms, especially for Garrett. Our plan is to pull out the tri-fold sofa and put in a bunk with room underneath for his toys. We love the front living room and kitchen area with pantry is great!! If you are interested in this more you can find the information here. https://www.granddesignrv.com/showroom/2017/fifth-wheel/solitude/floorplans/377mbs-377mbs-r For Garrett's bunkroom the picture below is similar to what we are wanting to do. The bunk above with his toys below. Now to just find a good dealer that will sell it to us for a decent price!! After we were done we headed over to get something to eat. We were hungry!! Finished up our lunch and continued to look around, I think Garrett enjoys looking as much as we do. He was having a great time going in and out of the RV's and he would let us know if he wanted to go in one that we had missed, LOL. We finished looking around about 3 PM and they were having the auto show next door so we decided to check that out. Again the veterans could get in for free so we only had to pay for my ticket. At the Kia location they had the hamster playing the banjo. Garrett thought that was awesome!! We had a lot of fun looking at all the new cars, trucks and jeeps. It was a really fun day. We decided to head out for you guessed it...lobster that night. We decided to make a little detour to our favorite lobster serving restaurant Eastwind Seafoods. This place serves the best we've had and the waitresses are all extremely friendly. What a great way to end a great day :)

I loved the trailer and the thumbs for the banjo player.
