Sassy getting in some love from Tim before he gets up. Spoiled rotten dog!!
This morning on our way out we had to stop in a nearby town at the Discount Tire to get our tires rotated on the truck. On our way we spotted some bighorn sheep. Boy do they blend right in with the mountain!!
We had lunch and then Tim dropped us off at one of the nearby parks while he took the truck in. I walked Sassy over to the dog park while Linda stayed behind and watched Garrett. The dog park was really nice and even had a water park for the dogs. Sassy was loving it!!
While I was with Sassy Garrett was having his own great time over here.
The child about gave me heart failure while we were here. I had come back with Sassy and we had previously told him where he could go and where he couldn't go in the park. I initially had eyes on him and then lost him. I went to look for him and couldn't find him anywhere in the play areas. The worst feeling in the world for a mom is when you can't find your kid. Well he had wandered over with another little boy to one of the areas we had told him not to go. So needless to say he was put in time out and had to sit over with Grandma and I for a little while.
I don't think he minded it that much though since he was getting tired from all the playing and being in the sun. We finally got back on the road around 5 pm and didn't get home that night until very late. We had a fun trip and I'm so thankful we are getting to have these experiences with Linda! This is something Garrett will always treasure!
