Today the rain has finally ended, YAY! Time to go explore our campground. Tim worked last night so he went to bed and Garrett and I headed out. First stop, the fishing pond.
This picture makes it look a lot nicer than it actually was......yuck!! Needless to say I can see why it's a fishing pond. The park itself is very nice though. Lots of RV spots. Next up the basketball court to throw the ball around. Was lots of fun!! You can see the pool directly behind Garrett in this picture. That looked like fun as well, but it's closed since it's cold now :(
They also have a putt putt golf course here. We haven't tried it yet, but Garrett walked all around and enjoyed looking at the different buildings. Looks like it will be a lot of fun :)
Last stop......the barn area. They have Donkeys and Horses staying in here. The Donkeys will come right up to you and let you pet them. Garrett was loving it......until a fly got on him and he lifted his head up to itch it off. Garrett thought the Donkey was going to hurt him and he was done after that. Needless to say.....we haven't been back. Not one of Garrett's favorite areas, LOL.
It really is a very nice RV park though. I think we are going to be pretty happy here for the month.
