My day started out by getting lots of love from my Grandma!!
Next up was Dad!!
Then we headed out to the Corning Museum of Glass. Today the Garbage Lady was coming to play for all of the kids. All of her musical instruments are recycled. It was very fun and neat listening to her play.
Back in 1972 Corning had a horrible flood that was catastrophic to the town. Everyone had to evacuate including Grandpa & Grandma Sutton, Tim & Scott who were both young at the time. Their house was flooded as were many others. This picture shows how high the water was at the Corning Museum.
I find it fascinating what can be done with blown glass. So beautiful!!
Grandma came to walk through the Museum with us. Her and Garrett were enjoying watching the balls and listening to the chimes play as they went around.
Unfortunately Garrett wasn't feeling well so we ended up leaving and going home early. But that's OK. There is always next time and they always have something new going on at the Museum!!
