Today we are meeting up with our Nephew and his Girlfriend. We can't wait to see them and get the tour of their city!
We started out the day eating at the Cheesecake Factory. I've always heard good things about the restaurant and we have never eaten there. We got outdoor seating. Garrett is so funny, he just kicks back and relaxes in the high chairs. He will pull his leg out of the high chair to rest on top. He now has a fascination with his feet. Crazy kid!! The restaurant was as good as everyone says!! Their portions are HUGE.

We headed back to the truck to drive over to David and Martyna's apartment and they were flying kites in the park we were at. These kites were huge so we stopped for a couple of minutes to watch them.
We haven't seen David since last April when we were in Vegas so it was so good to see him and Martyna again. We always love meeting up with family so expect a visit from us if we are visiting your area!! Their apartment is right in the Gaslamp section of San Diego and they are walking distance to everything. They loved meeting Garrett and of course Garrett loved the both of them!! He really loved Martyna's hair and necklace.
We then headed down to Seaport Village to walk around. Was a cute little area and this was actually the same area where we had lunch.

We had a great time visiting with them and ended the day having ice cream. Can't get much better than that!!
