We were going to try to put together our PVC pipe tent for our bikes and Garrett's stroller but it was raining hard out for most of the day and we knew we wouldn't be able to put it together inside. So we are going to wait until next week, hopefully the weather cooperates. The next couple of days are supposed to be rain and high winds. It was so windy that last night I thought about bringing Garrett in the room with me in case the RV tipped over. Our weather vain that we have outside said we had winds of about 45 mph. We are between two other RV's which I am sure helps out tremendously plus with the skirting on the bottom it also makes a huge difference. You could feel the RV shake though when the winds were high. Scary stuff you don't really think about when you are in a house. I think if the winds were much higher than that I would be bringing him in with me.
Garrett has also been sleeping poorly at night. He was waking up every hour. I had been going in as soon as I hear him stir but I know that isn't good for either of us so the last 2 nights I've been waiting 10 minutes before going into him. Needless to say he did wake up about 5 times last night but I only had to go into him once. The other times he put himself back to sleep. We've also pushed his bedtime back an hour. So instead of going to sleep at 7 pm I've been putting him to bed at 8 pm. He was waking up at 5 am ready to go and that is just way too early. So now he is waking up at 7 am instead. Much better for all of us. He is going to be an early morning kid though. Much like his momma is :)
