Garrett turns 6!!

This morning at 6:40 AM Garrett officially turns 6 years old. I know people will tell you to cherish it because it goes by so quick. I never really understood that until now. I look back and remember and think time please slow down. I'm not ready for my little boy to be growing up so quickly. But I know time slows down for no one. So I try to raise him as best as I can. Showing him about Jesus and his love for him. Teaching him to be kind and caring to everyone. Teaching him the values of a godly person. I pray for him and his walk every day. His heart is so tender, he loves with all of it and if someone or something is hurting he feels it. He's a giver and will give you the toy he's playing with if he thinks it will make you happy. He also loves to play pretend dress up. Wrestling is his favorite and he will pretend he's wrestling with someone throw them down and then he falls on the floor. It's just so funny to watch. He loves to watch YouTube and his favorite is Dino Dana, the nerf gun boys, and Blippi. He still likes to play with his trucks, and ride his bike. But he also likes to play with sticks, rocks and dirt. He's very animated and will watch every move you are making and mimic it. I still say he's either going to be a stunt man or actor when he gets older. He still loves kisses and hugs from mommy and daddy and his best friends are his dogs Sassy and Chloe (even though Chloe is really Ms. Teresa's dog). He loves to swim and play at the playground, loves to play all sports but I think his favorite is soccer. He's an extremely picky eater, with his favorite being peanut butter and jelly, Mac N Cheese, Hotdogs and clam chowder soup. His favorite color is blue, and Hulk is still his favorite hero. 

I love this little boy with all of my heart and I hope he has an amazing day today!! A look back at pictures of when he was just a baby and each of his birthdays for the last 5 years.

Boy you can really see how he's grown!! I think he was pretty happy when he saw all the decorations after he got up this morning. You wouldn't know it though by looking at this picture, LOL.

Another Birthday in the books. I think Garrett had a great day today!!  For the last 6 years this little boy has been able to celebrate his birthday in a different state. Here's a look back:
