When we go camping we use a percolator for our coffee. Tim had it set up and had coffee going this morning when we woke up :) In case you are wondering he is using our blackstone grill with a propane tank to heat it up. Hmm I could get used to sitting on this swing drinking my morning coffee!! Not 5 minutes later Teresa yells look a fox!! This fox was running right down the road and turned. Guess he's not afraid of humans...you can see him a little better in the 2nd picture. What a difference in coming in July vs coming now in August. It was very overcast and foggy most of the time we were here. It also would get very cold later on the week. Still very beautiful though!! We stopped for lunch at the Two Sisters Café on our way back from going to Many Glacier. We then made our way over to Lake McDonald and this would be Teresa's first time on the Going to the Sun Road. We had reservations for a boat ride there on the lake. On our way we spotted some people on horseback. That would have been fun to do as well!! We got to the lake and Garrett immediately wanted to skip the rocks!! Garrett showing me his rock collection. Tim patiently waiting for the boat ;) Teresa and I were both really excited to ride the boat. We didn't do any boat tours last time we were here and we had heard good things about them!! They finally announced that it was time to board. Woohoo!! This is one of my favorite pictures. It just shows how much he still needs his momma. Plus you can see how swollen his lip still is :( That didn't last long.....he was back up sitting with dad!! Excited to get this boat movin!! Once we got moving we were allowed to go up on the top deck. It was prettier up there, however, it was very cold and it started raining a little so we hurried up and took our pictures!! You can see the rain drops hitting the lake water. The guide on the boat was very informative and was talking about each thing as we rode past it. He told about the fires they had last year and about how many acres was impacted by it. Even with the fire destroying some of the forest it sure was still beautiful!! About 1/2 way Garrett started getting sleepy!! Taking pictures off the front of the boat. Some cabins in the distance. The boat ride took about 1 hour. Our guide was funny and educational and we learned quite a bit about this area of glacier. Here Teresa is coming down the dock. We then stopped in the gift shop and found some bear poop!! Heading over to Apgar Village to have dinner at Eddie's Café. After dinner we headed back up over the mountain to the KOA. It was a rainy day and getting dark. As we were going up it was starting to get really foggy. Well once we hit the top you could barely see. I've been in a lot of fog and I have to tell you this was the worst I had ever been in. It didn't help that we had drop offs on the side of us and you could barely see in front of you. We couldn't wait to make it back down the hill. I've never been so relieved to see the land in front of you again. That one was rough!!
