One of the main reasons we are loving this life is that we get to visit with family that we normally wouldn't get to see. The trip going home was no exception to that. We stopped in Salt Lake City for two days to spend some time with Tim's Uncle Tom and Aunt Nancy.
Before we went to their house we decided to stop for some lunch. We always use Yelp to help us find what some of the better eateries are in the area. Everyone raved about the Red Iguana and it certainly did not disappoint!! The food was sooooo good!!

The KOA RV Park we are staying at was really nice. We would like to do a 13 week assignment one of these times in Salt Lake City and would definitely stay at this RV Park again. Especially since it was so close to downtown. We wouldn't even have to drive, just get on the train right outside the RV park entrance!!
Enjoying spending time with Uncle Tom and Aunt Nancy. They really seemed to enjoy Garrett and we were so glad that we got to stop and see them.
Behind their house is a farm with goats and horses. Uncle Tom wanted to take us out back and show us the animals. Garrett of course loved it.
Garrett's favorite activity?? Running down the hill, LOL.....
Although, if you were to ask me.....I'd say his favorite activity is not listening to his mother!!
Heading out to eat dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse. It was so cool to see all the signs showing where the Olympics were previously held. We didn't go up on the Mountain but next time we will definitely be taking the trip up. So neat!!
After dinner we came back and Tim's cousin Leo and his son came over. Tim hasn't seen his cousin since he was around 10 years old. We are so blessed to be doing what we are doing and seeing all the relatives that we otherwise probably wouldn't be. We had a nice time with everyone and look forward to when we can get back to this area again!!
While at their house, Garrett had another first.....doing a somersault :)
