We got up and headed to Breakfast about 8 am and finally got on the road about 8:45. Today we are gaining an hour, woohoo!! Our drive today was pretty smooth sailing. The only delay we had was in St. Louis, MO that lasted about 45 minutes because of construction. So definitely not a bad day at all. We arrived at our Drury hotel in Joplin, MO about 3:30 pm.
I just have to say I think I may have the best traveling kid ever!! Even my Mother In Law made a comment that you wouldn't have even known he was back there. I give him the Ipad to watch, he has a basket of toys, some coloring books, and we play games as we go. I love that he is such an awesome traveler!!
We decided today that because we arrived early that we were going to have Garrett swim first. This way he can get out some of that energy from sitting all day. He's my little fish and loves to swim!! Of course he loves that Grammy Sutton as he calls her is here to watch him as well :)

Garrett was able to swim for about an 1.5 and then we headed upstairs to change and to go to dinner. Tonight was taco night at the Drury and they had all kinds of stuff for tacos. Garrett's favorite was the rice and their salad. So yummy!! After dinner we headed back upstairs where The Hulk and Dinosaur faced off.....who do you think won??

Finally time for bed. The Drury has the best beds and we all have been sleeping great!!
