July 1 - July 9

July 1 - Headed down to the pool today and we had to wait for them to unlock it.

Garrett is becoming quite the swimmer this summer. He has really gotten so much better and no longer needs to wear any kind of life jacket. He is floating on his back, can dive down to retrieve his toys, and swim in the deep end. Definitely going to be a good swimmer like his Dad :)

July 2 - This is what a homeschool Mom looks like, LOL. Reading glasses....getting older....yuck!!

July 3 - We swim almost every day. The only days we aren't swimming is when we have storms. Seems like that only happens in the late afternoons. Because of this we have been going right after lunch and having good luck with the weather. Gotta love Monsoon Season :)

July 4 - Happy 4th of July!!

Then firework time. We got a great spot to watch them. Unfortunately everyone was working so it was just me, Garrett and Sassy.

Some people have asked about Sassy and the fireworks. Sassy did great and she would 100% rather be with us than at home. They don't seem to bother her.

July 7 - Nothing like someone nibbling on your ear....

A couple of weeks ago Garrett had an accident on his scooter. He hasn't wanted to ride it all this time. Well today he finally decided to get back on it. So proud of him!

July 8 - Garrett has been working so hard for me with school. We are almost done with our Kindergarten year. I'm so thankful to be homeschooling him and being able to go at our own pace until he fully comprehends something. We do school almost every day unless we are going somewhere. This way when we do go somewhere we don't worry about school. Its been working great for us!

Once school is done we always finish up with pool time!!

July 9 - This morning at about 6am our electric started doing funky things. The microwave and electronics were all turning off and on and doing it about every 10 seconds. 

I went outside to check our electrical box. Tim was still at work. I shut it off and unplugged it. After I unplugged it I looked at it and this is what I saw....not good!! Needless to say I didn't plug it back in. Tim will be heading up to the office when he gets home. Something here needs to change as we have been having problems since we first plugged in....Thank goodness we didn't have a fire!!

Tim got home and spoke to the owner of the RV park. They had an electrician at our RV spot within an hour and they were replacing the plugs on several electric boxes, not just ours. They also replaced our plug so we would be able to plug back in. So far so good...no issues!

Teresa and I left after they got it fixed as we had to run out and get our tickets for the rodeo tomorrow. We stopped at Applebees for lunch and had some yummy frozen margaritas.

We stopped at the office on our way back to the RV only to find out the electric was out for the whole RV park. They are upgranding an electric station and decided to shut off power on one of the hottest days of the year....dummies!!  It got hot in our RV quick!!

He tried running our generator to just run our air conditioner in our bedroom and we could head up to the pool. But that didn't even work. UGH!!  It came on about an hour later thankfully. Needless to say we are now looking into getting a generator as well as solar for our next RV....
