A couple of weeks back I wrote about Mac the Fire Guy and how we had purchased several new Smoke Alarms for our RV. These smoke alarms were the dual sensor Photo/ION smoke detectors. They have been working well up to about 1 week ago. We came home from being out for the day and the smoke alarm in the living/kitchen area was going off. Our poor dog, she hates the alarms because of the high pitch and who knows how long it was going off. We took it down, blew it out and put in a new battery. After about ten minutes it started doing it again. Uh Oh, that isn't good.... So we took it down and put the smoke detector from our bedroom into the area and put the other one in our bedroom. Well that didn't work now both of them are going off. We took them off the wall and noticed they were both manufactured on the same date. So I called Kidde Customer Service and Kudos to them. They asked me if we did all of the above and I told them yes. They said they would immediately send out two new smoke detectors. They asked if we still had the old smoke detector that we could put up in the place of these. I wasn't sure if we kept the old one and the gentlemen advised that they would reimburse us to go out and purchase one from Walmart to use in the place of these until we got our two new ones. WOW, that is great Customer Service. We received our two new ones in about three days and so far they are working great. So for those of you that are shopping for a smoke detector whether it be for your home or RV I highly recommend Kidde. They stand behind their product and give great Customer Service!!
Garrett is working hard on standing up by himself. It's hard because we really have nothing here in the RV that he can grab on and pull himself up. The couch is on the slide and it has a little step up to it so it is awkward for him to pull himself on that. I've used his jumper and he does like to do it, but he can only pull himself up on that when I am there to hold it since it moves. If anyone has any suggestions on what we can use for him I am all ears.

Bailey's infection on her foot is looking a lot better. It is still a bit swollen but it seems to be doing much better.
