This morning we woke up and it was a rainy and gloomy day. We talked about what we wanted to do and decided that today would be a good day to head to Sams Club to get the new tires on the truck re-balanced. Hmmm, where should we go, well to the Maine coast of course. So we all hopped in the truck and headed over to Scarborough, Maine. First stop, lunch at the Rising Tide Restaurant on the water. The interior was decorated really cute!!
While we were waiting for our food I was looking out at the water and all of a sudden this HUGE fish jumped out of the water. It was so COOL!! Myself and about 3 other people in the restaurant saw it. Was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Our food came and it was very good. I had a lobster salad, Tim had a lobster roll, and Garrett had a hotdog and french fries. Was YUMMY!!
We finished up our lunch, and headed outside to look around.

We finally made it up to the dock area and Garrett was having a great time looking around. Lots of lobster traps!!
We finished up with our lunch and headed over to Sams club to get our tires re-balanced. After we initially got them put on we noticed that the truck was shaking. We headed over to Sams and they said they could get us in, but it would be about 2 hours. So we decided to walk around Sams club while waiting. Garrett found the headphones and was having fun listening to the music.
Hmm, possible Christmas present..... The tires were finally done after about 3 hours of waiting. We checked out, headed to the truck and started it up. Tim was not happy!! All of the tire pressures on the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) were messed up because they hadn't used a machine to re-link them back together. So just a FYI when you have a TPMS you make sure that they program the TPMS with the relation on where they are sitting on the vehicle, otherwise your tires will be showing pressures in the wrong location on your TPMS system.
We got back on the road to go to Kennebunkport, Maine and the tires were still shaking. Oh man!! So far we aren't having very good luck with these tires. Tim will be calling when we get back to the RV park to see what they want us to do.
We got into Kennebunkport and I wanted to do some shopping. Garrett had fallen asleep so I headed into the gift shop while Tim waited with Garrett in the truck. Found lots of neat little things and bought our shot glass, magnet, and key ring purchase. Such a cute town!! We didn't get there until later in the day, so we didn't walk around much. Guess that means we will just have to come back at another time :)

Lots of boats in the water. I love being near the ocean. One of my favorite places to be!!
We decided to eat at Mabel's Lobster Crawl. They had the outdoor seating open, but it was covered since it was raining. Was nice to be able to sit out there and watch the cars go by.
Tim and I had the lobster. Wondering how you eat them, they actually had a place mat that showed you how :)
So Yummy!! Was a great choice for dinner!! Time to head home. Have to get up early.....tomorrow is going to be a very fun day :)
