This morning when I went in to wake up Garrett I found his Spidey Water that he put on his pillow and covered with his blanket. It was so stinking cute!! He wanted to make sure that his spiderman didn't get cold. He is always so caring and giving :) Thankfully spidey doesn't leak!! Tim starts his new position today. He is pretty excited about it. He had training for 8 hours for Epic which is what the hospital uses for charting. He's used Epic before so I am sure he will have no issues. After his 8 hours at the training facility he will then head over to the hospital to get orientation for 4 hours in the ER. One of the things about being a travel nurse is you literally have to hit the floor running. Most people when starting a new position would get at least a week or more of training, Tim gets 4 hours on the floor. This is why they say you need to have at least 2 or more years experience before becoming a traveler. Today was a day shift and tomorrow he starts his normal shift of 7pm-7am. So for the next 13 weeks he will be in Niles, MI working at the Lakeland Hospital. Today is also a special day for my Mother In Law Linda. It's her Birthday. I couldn't ask for a better Mother In Law so we want to wish her a very Happy Birthday. Wish we could be there to help you celebrate it, but we are looking forward to going this Summer to the Bay of Fundy, and Bar Harbor in Maine to spend time with you!! Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you!!
