This morning we got up and headed out for Phoenix. Our first stop, breakfast at Sandra's Place. Then on to get diesel for the truck. Garrett's new favorite thing.......washing the headlights :) He looks so cool in his sunglasses!!

Today I drove while Tim took pictures. Love the picture of the train. This is a regular occurrence here in Gallup!!

Hello Arizona!!
First part of Arizona we go into is mainly a flat desert area. This is the area where I almost hit a Coyote. Man that thing was going fast as it ran across the road in front of us. It was pretty neat to see though!! Our first and only animal of the day :)
One of the first towns we go through we see these Dinosaurs and Garrett just loves it!!
The next area we go through I like to call the wilderness trees. This area reminds me of what Colorado will look like. It's really beautiful!!
We decided to stop in Payson and have some lunch!! We stopped at Macky's Grill and ate out on the patio. The food was really good!! If you are ever going through this area I highly recommend it!!

Finished up lunch and headed back out. Getting ready to head into Tonto National Park!!
There were clouds all morning long and rain in the distance. This stretch was where we finally hit some rain. It wasn't too bad though and didn't last very long. Still one beautiful drive!!
We finally made it into Phoenix. First thing we see is Woody on the back of a Jeep :)
Made it to Papa and Grandma's house. Grandma got Garrett a camouflage hat. He had fun trying it on and then putting it on the dog's head, LOL.

It's been a while since he's been able to take a bath (remember we live in a RV). So he really enjoyed his bath here at Papa and Grandma's house!!
Was a really great day!! Tomorrow we are heading over to do the Apache Trail. Can't wait!!!!
