Recalls, Oil Change and Playtime
There were 2 recalls that we had to have done on our truck and the oil also needed to get changed. So earlier in the week Tim called the Chevy dealer in Medford to make an appointment to get everything taken care of. Little did we know Tim would be sick but because they needed to get done he still decided to go. So as we were getting everything ready Garrett was having fun playing with his new ball. I think this may be his favorite new toy!!
Garrett had a nice nap along the way and we decided to eat lunch at R & D's Sandwich Factory. It was very good, we both had a sub and Garrett had a grilled cheese sandwich. Definitely somewhere we would eat again!!
From there Tim dropped Garrett and I off at the mall and he took the truck to the dealer. We headed straight to the play area in the Rogue Valley Mall in Medford. Such a nice place for the kiddos to play. At first Garrett was a little hesitant but once he figured out a couple things he really started enjoying himself, he even climbed the stairs to the slide and slid down. I was pretty impressed that he was able to climb the stairs by himself.
OK guys, pay close attention to the beginning of this one.....
Garrett had so much fun and we really enjoyed watching him. I love taking him to places like this because I really get to see his personality come out. He was patting the kids and was very gentle. He is going to be such a caring little boy. Sure he got knocked down a couple of times but usually got right back up and went on his way. I'm so proud of my little boy!! The only bad thing was that Tim continued to get even more sick throughout the day. I felt so bad for him. He just looked miserable. You know my husband isn't feeling well when he tells me to drive home. He never gives up the wheel unless he really isn't feeling good.
The fog coming home was so neat to look at. It was like a blanket on the mountains.
Poor Tim, we got home and he took his temperature. 101.9, gave him some Nyquil and sent him to bed. He must have caught something in the ER. Praying that since Garrett and I are taking the probiotics now we won't catch what he has. I also have been giving Garrett Vitamin D, and Elderberry syrup as well. Everything is all natural and if I can have him not get sick I am all for it!! Tim was up all night coughing and sneezing. I feel so bad for him. I don't think he is going to be going into work tomorrow if this keeps up. I know I wouldn't want my ER nurse being sick taking care of me. Hopefully this passes quickly for him. Please say a prayer for him!!
