Drove to Prescott again today to go to the Rodeo. The drive there is so scenic.
The Rodeo is AWESOME!! I highly recommend to anyone that has never been. Definitely would go and see one again. These first pictures were taken by Tim's dad and his camera.
These were taken by us. This first set they were trying to put a saddle on a wild horse. These horses were bucking and being very difficult.
Next there were 2 cowboys, one of them would jump off their horse to try to get the steer on the ground. A lot of them actually weren't able to get the Steer.
Next up were cowboys riding wild horses. Man did these guys really get thrown around. Some of them had their hand get stuck in the saddle and the helpers had to help them get off their wild horse. These horses were definitely not happy about
Next the clown came out and entertained for awhile.
Cowboys riding out on their horses had to lasso the steer then get off their horse and tie the steers legs. So many of them weren't able to get the steer.
Beautiful black horses pulling a buggy.
Horses bucking cowboys, boy do they take a beating....
Next up cowboys trying to lasso both the head and the feet. So many weren't able to do this. Must be very difficult.
This was a group of women out of California that did tricks on their horses. It was so neat to watch, sometimes scary since they were so close to the ground.
Women's barrel racing, some of these horses were quick!!
Finally what I have been waiting for. The bull riding event.....
Since that was the last event of the day. We then headed out to go to the truck. On our way they had a mechanical bull that people were riding. Most of them were kids but we did get a couple of adults that rode it. Hilarious!!
