This morning we got up and eventually....about 10 am headed out the door. Where were we headed??? Pittsburg, NH. What were we looking for......wildlife, but more specifically a Moose!! First things first though. Here are some pictures of the interior of the house we were staying at. The house was ok. We wouldn't stay there again though because of some of the issues we ran into.
We finally left and made our way over to the North Conway. The drive there was really pretty!! Lots of watch out for moose signs.
We stopped in Conway at Banners Restaurant for Lunch. It was really good food. The salads were excellent!! We sat outside since we hadn't ran into rain yet. It actually turned out to be a really nice day. Garrett loves to take pictures and he was having fun posing for them :) At one point he took my phone and did his own selfies, LOL.
We finished up eating and Garrett and I headed outside. He was having a great time running around!! Getting all that energy out before we get back in the truck and start our moose hunting adventure ;)

We finally got on the road about 2 pm. All I can say is WOW!! So beautiful. During our drive we got taken on a dirt road, through the mountains, through several towns and over some streams and rivers. We never did see any Moose, but we did see a red fox, and several turkeys. This state is amazing!!
So cool!! 1/2 way between the Equator and the North Pole. If we wouldn't have gone this route we would have never known.
We plugged in our restaurant and on our way there passed by this beautiful lake.
They take their moose statues seriously around here, LOL.
Arrived at our restaurant, only to learn we needed to have reservations....boo :( Oh well. At least we got this cute picture!!
We looked for a different restaurant and found one right up the road. Such a beautiful place!!
We finished up dinner and it was time to head home. The sun was setting which made it even more beautiful. Was a really great day and the rain held off all day long. Finally arrived safe and sound back to our house about midnight. What a great day :)
