This morning was Garretts first day of Hip Hop Dance Class. Things are slowly starting to open back up again. They specifically opened up classes just for the homeschool kids which is awesome. Garrett was very excited!! Today is Hip Hop and Wednedsday he does gymnastics.
I can see everything happening on this little monitor and I don't have to let him know that I am watching. Its awesome!
Garrett decided to ride his bike for a little while after we got home.
Things break in a RV, just like they do in a home. This week it was our RV fridge door. Tim ordered a replacement and for now we will use the outdoor fridge. So thankful to have 2 fridges even if the one in our outdoor kitchen is college sized!!
Sep 3 - Today we start Leaf Week!!

Counting how many days we've done school. This isn't entirely accurate since we've already done another 10 days before we started this.
Tired boy once again put himself down for a nap. Don't know many other kids that will do that!!

Sep 5 - During leaf week we had to break off a couple leaves to see what would happen and to demonstrate what happens when we leave Jesus. I loved this and I love how I see it click in Garrett when he finally understands something. More than anything else I want him to love Jesus!

The school work for this curriculum really isn't bad. Some of the things I think Garrett really enjoys doing!!
Then he got to play in some leaves while we played a game of find that letter. So while he was playing he also was looking for the letter I called out. I love games like this where he is learning and doesn't even realize it!!
Our snack for today is leaf cookies. They were good!!

We ended the night watching Fern Gully. It was a really cute movie!

Our schoolwork for the day. Writing our numbers, math, and writing our letters.
For our math lesson today Garrett was learning about sequences and patterns. He actually did very well with it. I think math and science are going to be his strong points.
The next thing he had to do was put the sound with the picture.
Garretts favorite part of the day.....craft time!! First thing we made was our lady bug.

Painting though is his favorite!! Probably because I really let him get into it, LOL!! His goal was to paint his hand and put it down on paper.
We did get a couple good ones out of it with Moms help :)
We put those to the side to let dry for the night and I let him get creative. He did that by painting himself ;)
Thank goodness for water and soap, LOL!! We cleaned him up and put on his pajamas for the night and he was able to go outside and play for a little bit. Sure likes to pretend play on dads motorcycle. Lord help me.....
Finished the night watching a football movie. Of course Garrett had to get into character.
Sep 7 - Today we finished up leaf week. But first we went to the dollar store and Garrett had some money burning a hole in his pocket so he purchased these funny teeth and a carrier to hold them in. He had so much fun with this.

Yesterday you got a glimpse of our craft project. Today we finished putting it together and will be sending out to family. I think it turned out great!!
We finished with doing some school work. Leaf week was so much fun!!
