I believe that God works in mysterious ways. You see in April of 2017 Tim had signed a contract to work at the New Orleans Veterans Hospital as a travel nurse for a full year. We were supposed to only have come home in April to help my mom through her knee replacement and then end of July head to New Orleans. Well God surely had a different plan in that all contracts for travel nurses for New Orleans were cancelled and instead he remained at the Fremont, MI hospital.
This allowed me to enroll Garrett in the Shelby Hills Preschool and for him to get evaluated for speech there. I'm certainly thankful for the time we've had here and the help that Garrett is receiving!! One of the things that they use in for his speech therapy are programs on the Ipad to help with his speech. Here he is in the morning playing one of the games.
April: Esophagus Stretched put under anesthesia
May: Knee replacement pushed out because she was sick with Pneumonia.
June: Full Knee Replacement on her right knee.
August: Went back in to push her knee back because it wasn't going back like they wanted it put under anesthesia.
September: Heart Stent put in put under anesthesia.
October: 2nd Heart Stent put in put under anesthesia.
November: Found out she has Pneumonia, also passed out in Walmart parking lot day before Thanksgiving where she messed up her face really good and broke 2 ribs.
January: Went to ER and has Shingles.
On top of all of these she has been to the ER numerous times and has been hospitalized probably 3-4 times.
On top of the above we were also able to finally have Garrett's undescended testicle surgery done as well as find out he had a heart murmur that we were not aware of. God sure knew what he was doing!! Phew, we've done a lot!!
I've also been able to start working on our house and hopefully within the next month we will officially have listed it to be sold. I wiped down the walls and shampooed the carpet in one of the bedrooms last night. 1 bedroom done.....3 more to go!!
Today is also my Niece Amanda's Birthday. I'll never forget the day she was born. I was a 12 year old little girl who was going to be an Aunt for the first time. I never knew you could love someone as much as I loved that little girl. Man did I have some fun with those kids!! From taking them on several vacations to going to watch her play sports!! I've watched her grow into the amazing woman she is today. I'm so proud of her and I'm thankful that I get to be her Aunt!! So happy 30th Birthday Amanda!!
I hope you had a great day!! Here are some throwback photos!! Love you!!
