Today we headed out to the Dayton Airport to pick up Grandma Sutton to begin our journey of heading back out West to Gallup, NM. We picked up Grandma at around 1:30 and headed out. Our first stop of the night was going to be the Drury Hotel in Terre Haute, IN.
I knew we were going to be heading into some storms, but honestly this was one of the worst I have ever driven in....Right before Indianapolis, IN it started to rain. At first it was just a drizzle but then it was coming down so hard you could barely see the headlights in front of you. At one point it was even starting to hail. It was pretty bad and lasted all the way through Indianapolis. Thankfully traffic wasn't too bad yet and we made our way through. Phew....I hope the rest of the trip isn't like that!!
About 4 pm we pulled into the Drury Hotel. Our stop for the night. The nice thing about the Drury is they give you 3 free drinks, meals to eat at night, free popcorn, free pop, and a hot breakfast in the morning. It is definitely my hotel of choice when traveling. So after checking in and unloading in our room we headed down for dinner. That night they had fettucini, hotdogs, chicken fingers and a slew of other things. Of course both myself and my Mother In Law Linda got a Gin & Tonic. So good!! After we finished eating we headed down to the pool to watch Garrett. I think his Grandma was really having a great time watching him in the pool :)

Finally it was time to head back up to our room, give Garrett his bath, and head to bed. It's going to be a long day tomorrow!!
