Wow, did we have some crazy storms Tuesday morning. It started about 2 AM and kept raining till about 8 AM today. There were some pretty loud cracks throughout the night and one was so loud it actually woke me up from a deep sleep. Garrett must be like his father because he slept through it all....I didn't even hear a peep out of him. Bailey of course as soon as it started came into bed with me, she never has liked storms. Tim was working and I had looked up the weather the day before and told Tim to take the truck Monday night instead of his motorcycle. Driving home in that downpour wouldn't have been fun!!
Well since we are indoors for the morning we might as well make the best of it and bring out the playdough!! Garrett loves playing with it and we have fun cutting out designs, using a playdough knife, and scissors, and flattening it out. Lots of fun things to do with playdough!!

Bailey was secretly hoping there was food and that Garrett would drop some......
It finally finished thundering and lightening about 9:30 so I decided that it was finally safe to head back outside. Garrett LOVES being outside. He's patiently waiting for me to open the outdoor kitchen so we can bring out all of the balls that are up there for him to play with.
Wanting to go on a bike ride, but his trailer that we put him in is full of water. Sorry Garrett, not this morning!!
He finally settled for me getting out the chalk so he could draw.
This little boy is a spitting image of my dad!! He loves bologna!! So every so often I will splurge for him and get it for the week. I know, I know bologna is horrible for you, but honestly he only eats it about every month and it is probably one of his favorite foods. Today lunch was bologna, cheese, Veggie Chips and an apple. He ate all of it gone. Must be going through a growth phase :)
Looking for the dog to share his food with. I left her inside just because of this.....
Tried a new recipe out yesterday....Stuffed Green Peppers. This one is so much healthier than our old version and you know what it tasted great. I get most of my recipes for our Take Shape For Life program off of Sandy's Kitchen website. She has some really great stuff!! So yummy!! Before going in the oven and after :)

We finished up our dinner tonight which was also a Sandy's Kitchen Recipe of Chicken with Mushroom Cream Sauce so good. After dinner I got together Tim's lunch and Garrett and I headed back outside to play some ball. Tim finally finished up and it was time to take him up to the motorcycle. Garrett loves to watch Tim on the motorcycle. He's definitely going to be a motorhead, gulp!! Dropped Tim off, came back finished the dishes and then it was time for Garrett's bath, books and bed.
Was a pretty great day, and Garrett is still potty training in underwear and today we only had 1 accident!! Woohoo, hopefully we can have him completely potty trained soon :)
