I should have known the day wasn't going to go as planned when Tim went to get on the motorcycle and it wouldn't start. He got out the jumper cables and tried that....and nothing. So we called our Nephew Josh to come over and help us push the motorcycle into the bed of the truck. We finally were all loaded up and ready to go!! Garrett was pretty excited to hit the road!!
We were on our way to Wapakoneta about 5 minutes up the road to eat lunch and weigh the RV. We wanted to make sure we weren't overweight. About 1 pm we got on the scales and uh oh. We were about 800 lbs over our weight limit. Oh Crap!! Needless to say we headed back home, got our scale out and took out about 650 lbs worth of stuff. OUCH!! This is my not so happy face :(
We finally got back on the road at about 6pm. Around 8:00 we finally made it into Indiana. Here's your sign......
Because of our late start and needing to get up very early the next morning we decided to stay in a hotel that night. I know what an oxymoron. Towing an RV but staying at a hotel, LOL. Here we are exhausted and ready for bed. Garrett was pretty excited that he got a big bed all to himself :) Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow!!
