The dealership called this morning and said they had an LT which is what we originally were looking at, but they also said they had an LTZ and could also for close to the same price get us in that. We currently have the LTZ with the truck we have now and really love our truck. So we decided to purchase the LTZ. So we are now owners of a 2015 2500 Chevrolet Silverado Diesel LTZ white pickup truck. Needless to say I am much happier knowing that this truck will be able to tow through the mountains and not have to worry constantly about it. Plus we can add more weight to our RV since we were keeping it below due to only pulling with the 1500, woohoo!! Below is a couple pictures of it with Tim, Howard and Barb walking towards it.
After we got done picking up the truck we went back to the RV and took Bailey and Garrett swimming in the Lake. We had to drive down a rocky path and then had to walk down some rocks to get to the water. This was Garrett's first time swimming with Bailey. The water was a little cold and Garrett at first didn't like how cold it was but after a bit he finally got used to it. There was a ton of burrs down by the water and Bailey got a bunch in her feet and on her legs. This lake is much better if you have a boat you can take out. They have no beaches just the rocks to walk down so before you come here make sure you take that into consideration. Bailey was in heaven!! She loves to swim and it is great exercise for her. So glad we were able to get down the path and take her!!
We topped the day off with Steaks for dinner and talking to my family back home. It was a great day and we are loving spending time with Tim's dad and Barb!!
