Today we continued through Texas making our way through Dallas/Fort Worth with a side stop at Camping World to get a surge protector for the RV. Texas for us was not an impressive state so far. Last year we traveled through the pan handle and this year we went through the middle. Not very scenic. During our day about 3 what we think was Nascar trucks passed us as we were traveling. Was neat to see the different trucks.
We stopped at Windmill RV Park in Abilene, Texas for the night and ate at Chili's Bar and Grill. We are trying to get Garrett to learn how to drink out of a sippy cup. So far not much luck, LOL. It is very windy tonight and cold so we decided to only hook up the electric. It was down in the teens but the RV did great. The only bad thing about not hooking up is that we have to go out in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Not bad if it was nice out, but when it is windy and super cold not much fun.
