We left the RV Park around 10 AM and decided to try out an eatery up the road. It was called Luchia's Cafe. This place was AWESOME!! Upon arrival it just looked like another cafe, however once getting inside they offered us to sit outside on their patio. We went out and wow, just beautiful!! They have several peacocks that were walking around along with a fountain with Koi fish. Garrett loved all of the animals. The peacocks would come right up to you and their feathers were just so pretty. We walked around a little before finally sitting down and eating our breakfast. We finally sat down to eat Breakfast and Garrett was so funny. He would turn around so we could feed him his cereal and then go right back to looking at the Peacocks and birds that were around him. He is definitely curious about things now and it was fun to watch his eyes light up when they would come close to him. While we were eating there was a lizard that was running across the boards. It was so funny it would run then stop and it looked like it was doing push ups because it was breathing so hard. Tim and I got a good laugh from that one!! Breakfast was really good!! After we were done eating we decided to venture out and look at more of their property. They told us that the Pie Maker is the one with the green thumb. They had a dispenser where you could get Peacock and Fish food for a Quarter each. So they gave us cups and we ventured out to feed the animals. The first stop was the Fountain where all the Koi Fish were. These fish were crazy!! We put some food in the fountain and they were flopping all over each other. Garrett of course couldn't get enough of all of these animals!! Definitely going to be taking him to the Zoo when we get back to Tucson. We finished up feeding the fish and headed over to feed the Peacocks. They have about 3 males that just walk along the property. The females they keep in a pen. I didn't know this but they told us that the males are the pretty ones and the females are the ones that do not have the long feathers. I had to take a picture of their chairs. They are made out of leather, and wood. They were pretty neat looking. We got done feeding the animals and decided it was time to hit the road. If you are ever in this area we highly recommend stopping here and eating along the way. We always check the pressure in our tires of our RV before we head out. Love that my husband puts safety first!! The scenery was pretty similar most of the way to Kingman where we decided to stop for gas. So pretty along the way! We finally got to Kingman for gas, where we went on Route 66 to get our gas. Heading to Las Vegas, did I mention the scenery is spectacular!! Made it to Lake Mead which is on the outskirts of Vegas. This also is the area where the Hoover Dam is. Woohoo we get to add another state to our map!! Hello Nevada!! We finally arrived in Vegas at around 3:00 PM. You can see the city from our RV Park. We are about 5 minutes away from downtown. We really like our RV Park. We are staying at the Oasis RV Park and it is so nice!! Can't wait to get into this pool tomorrow to go swimming!! After we walked around we headed back to the RV so we could add the sticker to our map and just relax for the rest of the evening.
