We started out the week off great. Garrett was getting extra love from his dog!

Unfortunately when Tim got up he wasn't feeling well. He only has 1 more day of work and then 5 days off. Hopefully he makes it through ok for tonight!!
The next day for homeschool one of the activities was making Lentil Soup. Garrett had a great time helping me make it!!
Well apparently Tim gave his sickness to Garrett. He woke up this morning with a temp and not feeling well. Ugh!! I hate it when my little guy is sick :( Thankfully we have the dinette that I can make into a bed and this became sick quarters for about a week.....
This dog wedged herself on the blanket 1/2 on the couch and 1/2 on the footstool with about a 12" gap in between. Crazy dog!!
So I thought Garrett was on the mend and feeling better, but this morning when he woke up he was back to feeling not good again.
This time his sickness seemed different. He was also complaining of a sore throat. So I decided it was time to take him into urgent care. I didn't know if what had been the flu was now strep throat. So into urgent care we went.....
They did a strep test on Garrett and it came back positive. Here's hoping those antibiotics kick in quickly. Poor little guy was miserable tonight!!
He woke up the next morning and he looked a little better!!

By the end of the day almost back to a happy kid!! Thank goodness for antibiotics!!

All 3 of us ended up getting the flu. Tim and Garrett had it the worst, being down and out for about 5 days. I got it and wasn't feeling well for about 2 days, but not completely down and out. Thankfully I had been kicking in the Elderberry syrup and probiotics once Tim and Garrett had it which I think made mine less potent. Few that was a rough two weeks!!
