After arriving last night and walking around the RV park this morning we have made the decision to stay where we are at. We are right on the outskirts of Tucson. We feel very safe where we are located and everyone seems very friendly. The RV park has plenty of activities to keep us busy if we so wish, along with a pool for us to play in with Garrett. I don't think we could have picked a better spot. So we headed up to the office to pay for our site and to get more information. They didn't charge us for Thursday night when we were pulling in and will start our monthly rate on the 1st. Wow, not many places anymore have such great Customer Service. They also gave us a March Activity Calendar and invited us to Saturday mornings Canadian Breakfast that the Canadians in the park throw. Here are some pictures of what we took while walking to the office this morning. Kathy will take more as she has time but this is just to get a feel for where we are staying.
After getting our RV site taken care of we headed out to do more errands. We both needed items notarized, had to go to Camping World, Walmart, Fry's Grocery Store, Kathy needed a haircut and Tim wanted to check out the hospital Northwest Medical Center where he will be working. Needless to say we didn't get all of them done. Walmart and Grocery Shopping will have to wait until Saturday. We took some photos of the mountains we are seeing from our area. We didn't get back to the RV till late that night.
