This morning we headed out for a soccer game. Garrett has really improved on playing!!
After we got done with soccer, Garrett and I headed over to the mall. That is where they were holding the McKinley County Annual Safety day. We heard about it from some other homeschool families and that it was really fun to go and do. First stop was an ambulance but he didn't really want to stay and look, he made a beeline straight over to where the firetrucks were!! He loved being able to sit up in the truck and try on the firemen outfits :)
Then we went into the Fire Safety House and learned all about being safe if there is a fire and what to do.

Waiting patiently for the police dog demonstration to start!!
They have two separate police dog demonstrations. This is the 1st one that was by the Sheriff's Office.

This dog demonstration was much different than the first one. I didn't realize it was going to be as loud as it was. Was really neat to watch it though!! This one was through the Gallup Police Department.
Unfortunately the helicopter that was supposed to land was unable to because of the high winds. That didn't damper the day though, it was still really fun and I think Garrett really enjoyed it!! That night he had fun watching Captain America and wearing his new costume!! I personally think my little guy is way cuter than the original :)
