This week has been super busy for me!! I spent most of the week getting ready for the garage sale on Friday. I needed to get rid of the bigger stuff so I had room to put the smaller stuff out. It was definitely successful!! I got rid of almost everything and will be having another garage sale in probably two weeks to get rid of the remaining items. It was funny, I advertised that the garage sale didn't start until 9 and people were showing up at 8 am. I didn't even have time to put out my signs till about 10:30 that morning. I guess what I am going to have to do next time is put them out the night before. Then after lunch it completely was dead. So next time I think that I will have it on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and only do from 9am-2pm. That way I don't have to stay open so late since I don't really have anyone then anyway. One of the positives of the garage sale was the fact that I had two people very interested in the house. They say it is a sellers market and I am definitely seeing that....a plus for us!!
I decided to take Saturday off for all house stuff and take Garrett down to the Cridersville United Methodist Church as they were having an Easter egg hunt as well as the Easter Bunny. Here we are waiting in line for the Easter Bunny. Garrett was very excited and loved seeing all of the decorations up on the wall!!

Finally getting to meet the Easter Bunny. He was so happy to see him :)
It's funny....the last time we had the Easter Bunny at an event was when Garrett was just a baby in Tucson. So great job Cridersville UMC for having him there. Garrett loved it!! Here's a picture from that day in Tucson, it definitely was a lot warmer then :)
After meeting the Easter Bunny we then went and sat down and waited for them to call us up for lunch. The Lions Club had hotdogs, chips, and juice for everyone. It was really nice!! Garrett did a great job being patient and waiting. I have such an awesome little boy!!
Then they called each age group. Garrett was in the 3-4 year olds. He was so excited!! We headed outside and waited for them to say GO!! He has the best SMILE!!
They said GO!! And off they went. Garrett had a great time finding the eggs and he filled up about 1/2 of his bucket. Didn't even need any help from Mom :)
So much fun!! I made him pose one more time showing me all that he had gotten in his bucket :)
We then headed inside to take apart the eggs and empty out the candy. Took a picture of all his candy after the eggs were emptied. He definitely got a lot!! He's a happy boy :)
Of course he immediately wanted a piece....or 3, LOL!!

We then headed home as I had a person coming to pick up the entertainment center that I had sold it to. I was going to treat myself to a nap today so Garrett and I headed to our beds. About 15 minutes after laying down and just as I was nodding off, I felt someone touch my arm. Scared me, I opened my eyes and there Garrett is standing in front of me. Geesh kid!! Of all the days he doesn't want to take a nap is the one day that I really needed it. Ugh!! Finally decided to get up since he wasn't having any nap time today and decided to start making my meals for our family Easter dinner tomorrow. Cucumber Salad, Macaroni Salad, and Ham Rolls=Yummy!! I finished up his Easter Basket and we are all set for Easter tomorrow :) Was a really great day and a nice break from working on the house!!
