August 25 - Today Tim had off so him, Sassy and Garrett headed off on their bikes.
August 26 - Just another day playing outside until we started getting bit by these little flies. We then headed in. They were everywhere!!

Today, August 27 we headed to Rapid City, SD to become South Dakota residents. We changed over our drivers licenses, registered our vehicles and enrolled Garrett as a home school student. Surprisingly it actually went pretty smoothly!!
We then headed to the barber shop where Tim and Garrett got haircuts. They asked if Garrett wanted a little color and he got to pick which one he wanted. He picked red and loves it!!
August 28 we played outside for a little bit with the dogs. Garrett also found another bug. He loves finding bugs!!
I've been making lots of recipes in my instant pot and today I tried my hand at Cheddar Potato Soup. It was soooo good!!
Then Garrett found not 1 but 2 different kinds of bugs outside.

Sep 1 - Garrett was watching Blippi on TV and he was showing the kids how to juggle. So Garrett wanted to try his hand at it.

Sep 4 was HOT!! Today was like supposed to be 102 outside. So we went out to play in the morning and then watched some videos together in the afternoon after school. He sure loves his dog!!

Sep 5 was another hot one. We played outside in the morning and then brought everyone in for the afternoon!!

We then headed to Walmart for some groceries and they had their Halloween stuff out. Garrett's favorite holiday is Halloween and he just loves trying on the masks.

Sep 8 - Not a whole lot happening in our house lately. Just mainly playing outside, school, watching videos and playing with the dogs. Seems like we've gotten into a routine. Below he is watching Dino Dana. I probably know more about dinosaurs than I ever thought I would, LOL.

We don't really ever stop school, but we do go on to the next grade. Today was Garrett's first day of Kindergarten and he is soooo excited!!

Garrett didn't know I was videotaping him while he was playing with his cars. Once he realized I asked him some questions that he answered for me. I'm so proud of how far he's come with his speech!!
