Tim had to go to class today for his ACLS re-certification. So Garrett and I stayed behind at Reeder's Beach RV Park. It was a nice little RV Park with a lot of full time residents. They had free range chickens and ducks walking around. We enjoyed watching them out the window and when we went on our walks.
After it warmed up a little more we finally headed down to the beach area. You had to climb down some rocks to get to the beach so I carried some items down before I finally took Garrett down. This was his first time playing in the sand and he had a ball. I put his suntan lotion on him which is why his hair is white and let him go at it. He wasn't really interested in the toys I brought just mostly letting the sand go through his fingers.
The video I got of Garrett playing in the sand for the first time. We were on the Columbia River at Reeder Beach. Was a very nice area.
The playing in the sand lasted for about 5 minutes until he heard water in the distance. He saw the river and hightailed it towards the water. After that he didn't want anything else to do with the sand. He only wanted to play in the water.
After I put Garrett in the water, I took him back up to see if he would play in the sand again.

Our view on the beach was amazing. Mountains in the background and we even got to watch a couple of really big ships go by as we were playing. I think Garrett's first time at the beach was a big hit!!
After about an hour of playing in the sand we headed back to the RV and Garrett got his bath and then played with Bailey for a bit. I don't think the dog realizes how much this little boy loves her.
Bailey thinks she's Garrett's other Mommy :)
