The last couple of days I've been moving the items from the inside of the cabin back out to the RV. Garrett has been a huge help. One of the bad things though is that it has been snowing and raining for the last couple of days and I pulled his bike in because of that. Well I was in the back bedroom getting some items to take out to the RV and out of the corner of my eye I see Garrett on his bike. I came out of the bedroom just in time to watch him go flying down the hallway, out the front door, onto the porch and down the front steps. My first thought was holy crow......he's definitely going to the ER now because he broke one of his bones. Thankfully though he was just bruised and battered. No broken bones and the handle bars just missed hitting inside his eye. Poor little guy is certainly going to have one heck of a black eye to show off to family back home.
Needless to say he got extra love and attention from me on that day and we didn't have to wake up Dad to tell him we were heading to the ER.....The picture below is where the bike landed after I picked up Garrett from it and of course tended to his needs first :)
