Tim worked last night and as soon as he got home this morning I had everything waiting for him to pack in the truck. We are tent camping while we are there and all this needs to fit, gulp.....
I think Garrett is super excited and ready to go. We did finally pull out around 2 pm. I ended up driving since Tim hadn't gotten any sleep yet. Poor guy is so exhausted. Here's hoping he sleeps some of the way while I am driving.
We pulled into our hotel at Billings, MT around 7 pm. Woohoo another state to put on our map!! Billings seems like a very nice city and we had a great meal that night. Plus it was so pretty downtown, the twinkly lights really made it seem so romantic :)
The next morning we got up and finally got on the road around 10 pm. We had some errands to run that morning as we knew there wouldn't be any big box stores where we were going. Montana sure is a beautiful state, but boy do they have a lot of bugs!!
We arrived about 4:30 pm, checked into the KOA and set up camp. We finished about 7:00 pm and headed over to Johnson's Restaurant for a good meal and a great view!!
I'm so excited. I've wanted to come and see Glacier National Park ever since I was a little girl and had read about it. I'm also a bit nervous. They said they had spotted some grizzly bears in the field next to the KOA we were staying at and we are staying in a tent. Hopefully we stay safe during the 5 days we are here. I can't wait to go exploring tomorrow. This is going to be awesome!!
