Our RV Park is so nice. We are staying at Mission Bay RV Park and it is in the bay, but you can smell the saltwater from the ocean. I took several pictures of our park to show you some of our views. We could look out our RV window right at the water on the bay. They had a snack shack that you could get food including Breakfast. We are going to have to walk down here and get Breakfast one morning. More pictures of our view of the Bay. We finally were ready to head out and get Tim's fingerprints done at a Livescan location in California. We are applying for Tim's RN license so he can practice in California. They are saying it takes approximately 6 months to get so we knew we needed to get it done quickly. Our drive to the Livescan location was amazing. This city is so beautiful!! Well fingerprints are done and packet is mailed out, woohoo. Hopefully it won't take the full 6 months for Tim to get his license. While Tim was in getting this taken care of he asked where some good areas are for eating. They recommended Phil's BBQ so we decided to go there for lunch. The food was good definitely a busy place!! After we finished eating lunch we decided to head to downtown San Diego to see what kind of things we could do. San Diego's downtown area is awesome!! So far Cincinnati has been our favorite city, but I think San Diego has now taken over that spot. They have boat tours you can take, trolley tours, a military airplane carrier you can go on. Just so much to do!! We took some pictures and made some mental notes of what we want to do while we are here. We have family in the area and they made some suggestions on items to see. One of those was going to La Jolla Cove so after visiting the downtown area we headed to La Jolla. WOW!! So amazing. I have never seen a seal and they were so cool to watch. Garrett was fascinated with them. They were going out and playing in the water. We were so close to them only about 15 feet away. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend this area!! The area was so amazing. The views were great!! Our poor dog wanted to go out in the water so bad. She was crying and putting her head on the seating area. Unfortunately it was very rocky where we were and cold so there was no way she was going in the water today!! We have a tripod that we use to take our family pictures and decided what better location than here to take a couple!! If you have children and a dog you know how difficult it is to get a good picture of everyone. We then took Bailey back to the truck because dogs weren't allowed on the same beach as the seals. The area where the seals are is called Children's Beach. It was so neat!! There is also a pier that goes out the water was smashing into so it would go up and over. Several people got wet while walking out on it. It was getting late so we decided to head back to the RV, this was our view while heading back. It was a great day, can't wait to see more of this wonderful city!!
