That night we headed over to Delaware State Park where they had a display of Christmas lights to drive through. Wow!! The setup they had was amazing. After we were done driving through the lights we stopped at the cabin to see Santa. They had cookies and punch or hot chocolate to have while you waited. Garrett was having fun going through the scarfs on the rack.
When we first arrived there was quite a line. They had actually had a great setup where they give you a card with a number and you could walk around or go outside while you waited for your turn. It was great since you know a small child isn't going to sit still for very long and our wait was probably going to be about an hour.
We waited and finally it was our turn to see Santa! So exciting!! They had it decorated so nice and Garrett was able to sit on the animals to say Hello to Santa.
He got up on the Polar Bear and wasn't scared at all. Was so cute to see his reaction to Santa!!
He was such a great Santa!! He even let Garrett try on his hat :)
Telling Santa what he wants for Christmas!!
Santa was so funny!!
Garrett was so vocal with him. He was talking his ear off, LOL!!
Getting his candy cane and coloring book. Santa even opened it for him.
Giving Santa another Hi-Five and saying goodbye!!
Heading out and saying bye bye to the animals at the front.
There was a sleigh out front, but you can see from the pictures that Garrett really wasn't into it. It was late and way past his bedtime ;)
What a great day!! We had so much fun and it was great to watch Garrett looking at the lights and Santa. If you are ever in Ohio I highly recommend coming here. Santa was free and the lights only cost us $5 to go through.
