Every Tuesday here at the RV park they have free coffee and donuts down at the rec hall. This Tuesday they also had a quilt raffle where the women in the park have made several quilts and will be raffling them off today. There was 1 quilt in particular that was just beautiful. One of the ladies suggested that several go in together and make this quilt. It was just beautiful. It was a quilt that had an Indian man on the front of it. I've never seen anything so detailed and was secretly hoping that I would be the one to win it, but alas it was not to be so. To let you know the detail that went into this quilt there was approximately 15 women that worked on it and it took them from September to February to finish. I wish now I would have taken a picture of it. It was just amazing. I did however win a pair of pot holders that someone had crocheted. So I did come out winning something.
I can't say enough about this RV park. The people are so friendly and they love seeing Garrett. I believe its because they secretly miss their own grandchildren, LOL. We took a walk out to the road today, but after hindsight I probably won't be doing that anymore. Tim said it's probably not a good idea with wild cows roaming the desert. So from now on we will just walk here in the RV park.
Tim's 2nd day at work went well, he said it is a very busy ER. His day does go by quickly though. I'm glad that he likes where he works. The good thing about traveling is that if he didn't like the hospital he only has 8 weeks to deal with it and then we can move on to a different location.
