My sweet baby sleeping. I love it when they sleep, they are so innocent. I hope he is having good dreams!!
Today we decided to head out and do some exploring. We were going to check out Navajo Lake on the New Mexico side and also the Colorado side. The New Mexico side was closed but the Colorado side was open. So we decided to stop and swim at the state park. On our way this was one of the deer that we saw.
Garrett was super excited to be able to go and swim in the lake.

Chloe absolutely loved it!! She was having a ball swimming and playing in the water. She's definitely a water dog. Sassy on the other hand wouldn't get in past her belly and wanted to explore on the land more than in the water.

Garrett really loved the fact that Chloe was swimming in the water with him.
I think everyone was having a really great time. Sassy was off leash because she will stay close and Chloe was on a very long lead that allowed her to explore just enough ;)

It was finally time to head back to the truck and head home. Our drive home we had a beautiful view as well.
We made it back to the RV and that night decided to have a campfire. So relaxing!!
After such a fun day all of the kids were tired. Because we were sitting outside I told Garrett he could sleep on the couch tonight. The dogs were sleeping in our bed :)
What a fun day and it felt good to get out for a little bit. We kept our distance and we weren't really around any people at all. Sometimes all you need is some time outside!!
