We left Klamath Falls around 12:30 PM this afternoon to head to Crescent City, CA. We booked a house on VRBO for 5 days 4 nights. The drive to Crescent City was amazing!! Everything is so green and lush. It had just finished raining for about a 4 day period so there was quite a few waterfalls we saw along the way. Most of our drive after Grants Pass, OR was along a river. It was really flowing and so pretty!! The pictures just don't do justice for what our drive was like. It was just so beautiful!!
We arrived in Crescent City, CA at about 5:00. The owner had sent us what the key code was to get in. The house is awesome!! It is right across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Our view from the front window is unbelievable. You can hear the waves crashing into the beach below. We always get our houses from VRBO, Airbnb or homeaway. It is so much cheaper to go this route then getting a hotel. We've done this so many times for our vacations and I have yet to be disappointed!! For someone who has been in a 300 sq foot RV for a year this was heavenly!! I have a dishwasher, washer and dryer and a tub. Holy cow, the little things that we take for granted. This is going to be such a fun vacation. We have big things planned for tomorrow so stay tuned......
