Today we are heading to Edaville to see Thomas the Train. They have trick or treating going on and Garrett gets to dress up in his Halloween costume. This year he picked out his own costume and decided to dress up as a Fireman. He looks so handsome!! We arrived about 10 AM in the morning. Garrett was very excited. First stop......Cran Central Junction also known as where the bathrooms are, LOL...... Inside the building they had several train stations that Garrett could play on. I'm sure this place gets pretty packed on the weekends when there are lots more kids. Thankfully we were able to go on a Monday during school so the place was pretty much dead and Garrett had his pick of what he wanted to play with. He's very into Dinosaurs right now and was loving looking at the one inside the building. His Grandma Beverly got him a Dinosaur book for his Birthday and it is becoming one of the top books he picks out for me to read to him every night before bed. He's really going to love Dinoland!! We finally headed back outside. First stop the balloon ride. Tim and I decided that we would switch off on riding with him on most of the rides. He's going to be a daredevil for sure. Wasn't scared of anything he loved every minute of it!! Next stop Dumbo.....getting him ready for our big Disney World trip next year :) This one he got to ride with dad!! Look Garrett it's the Edaville Frog!! Garrett unfortunately wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. Garrett had a great time playing and this Dinosaur and Hippo were one of his favorite things to play on while we were here for the day. The airplane ride he got to do all by himself. The operator showed him how to pull on the stick to go high. Needless to say Garrett was up in the air practically the whole ride. He would let go of the stick and drop down and them pull up and laugh. The kid is going to be an adrenaline junky, LOL. It was so much fun to watch him having fun. Next ride was the Astro Orbitor. This one really put on some G forces. I can see why they put the parents by the door. Garrett was smushed up against me the whole ride. Stopping to check out the locomotive. Garrett loved all the knobs and pullies on the inside. Thomas Land here we come!! Stopping to greet the little people of the town :) Getting ready to ride Bertie the Bus!! Riding Toby's Tracks with Dad!! One of Garrett's favorite rides. So as we were walking we came across some more little people. One of them was holding what looked like a sucker, and yep you guessed it. Our little guy went right up and gave it a lick. GROSS!! Well when you are dressed as a firemen you have to ride the fire truck and put out the fire!! Make a wish Garrett!! No Quarters.....drop in your hat instead!! We then stopped to watch the show. I mean who doesn't love trains that can talk to you. Garrett was enthralled the whole time and it was a really cute show!! After it was done we headed over to the cafe to have lunch. Garrett LOVED this ride!! This is when we officially knew that our guy was going to be a roller coaster lover. I'm putting my life in a 3 year olds hands. He's piloting our helicopter, gulp!! Tim tried to take Garrett on the roller coaster they have, but he is still too short :( Garrett was pretty upset. Garrett wanted to ride the fire trucks again. Ferris Wheel fun!! Walking with Daddy!! Entering Dinoland. This land was great!! Garrett had a ball looking at all of the dinosaurs. He kept going up to strangers and talking and pointing at them. I thought he might be a little scared since they are so big and some of them are pretty scary. Nope, not our little guy. They even had it decorated festive for Halloween!! Having fun with the Hippo and Dinosaur!! Getting ready to ride Thomas the Train. It was a 20 minute ride around the park itself. They had Halloween decorations out and it was a really cute ride!! Garrett met some kids at the Hippo and Dinosaur and was having a great time playing with them. I think the little girl reminded him of his Cousin Kayley. He absolutely loved playing with them and she did so good with Garrett. It was fun to watch them. Was a great day!! This was the perfect age to take Garrett. He was able to ride almost everything and he absolutely loved it. We ended our day by going out for Lobster. Was a perfect ending to a perfect day!!
