A couple months ago Kim who is the Daycare Program Coordinator at Wilma Valentine where Garrett attends asked if it would be OK for Garrett to join her in the annual Fashion Show Extravaganza hosted by the Shelby County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Of course I said yes. Right before Tim left for New Mexico we were able to go to Peebles and pick out a complete outfit for Garrett. On Friday they had a rehearsal practice and Garrett was so excited!! They ran through the program and gave everyone an idea of what to expect.
We got up the next morning and headed out for Garrett's haircut before the show. He LOVES getting his haircut!! Great Clips did a great job!! We then headed to McDonald's for Lunch. My happy guy!!
Off to the Senior Center where he changed into his new outfit and went out front to take some pictures. They had a photographer there taking pictures of all the models.

Then it was time for the fashion show to start. Everything was great!! Of course my favorite was Kim and Garrett!! He sure stole the show. All of the models did a great job and they should all be super proud of themselves!! It was so much fun to watch!!
After the fashion show finished up they gave away some door prizes and Alisha & Kayley both won one of them. They also had cookies and water downstairs along with some vendors. The show turned out great and all of the people who were involved in making it happen should be really proud of themselves. The show was alot of fun and it ran really smoothly!! I'm glad that we were able to be a part of it!! Thanks again to Grandma Beverly, Aunt Joyce, Alisha and Kayley for coming to watch him. He loved having you there!!

After the fashion show was over I headed over to Josh & Alisha's house. I was taking Kayley shopping for her Birthday gift and Josh and Alisha were watching Garrett for me. We headed out to Justice in Huber Heights where Kayley tried on several different outfits. I think she looks great in all of them, but she was only able to choose two :)

We ended the night by meeting Josh, Alisha & Garrett at Texas Roadhouse for Dinner. I sure am going to miss all of them when we get back to New Mexico!! I love my people!!
