The day started off like any other. Today was laundry day for us so I was busy getting the laundry together and cleaning things up. It has been in the 70's here so we have been leaving the main door open and just closing the screen door. Little did I know that Garrett had been paying very close attention to how we open and close the screen door. So I was in the Kitchen working on getting everything together when I look over at the door and in slow motion see my little boy reach up and open the screen door. I ran as quickly as I could to him but didn't reach him in time as he somersaulted down the steps of the RV. I thought my heart was going to come out of my chest. Oh my goodness. I raced to the bottom and he was crying looking up at me. I know accidents are going to happen, he is a boy after all and has no fear of things. But boy do I hate to see him hurting. Thankfully the only thing he hurt was his face as he had rug burn from going down the steps. No bruises, sprains or broken bones. Thank the Lord!!
Thankfully he bounced back quickly and within about 30 minutes he was back to his normal self.
The Snow Geese and ducks are so neat to watch. They fly overhead and there are hundreds of them. I've never seen anything like it! Here they are chilling out in the Lake :)
