Today we headed out to Fort Robinson State Park. We had heard from several people that this was a State Park in Nebraska that Garrett would really enjoy and it definitely did not disappoint. Garrett was immediately drawn to the horses..... And to the stagecoach. We even got to go on a little ride. I think this was everyone's first time in a stagecoach and I have to say I'm thankful I don't have to travel like this.... I think Garrett really liked the ride, it was VERY bumpy!! We didn't realize until the very end that it was Donkeys pulling us, not horses. Tim showing Garrett how the brake works. We then headed to the stable where Garrett got to see more horses and feed them. I think the horses liked Garrett as much as Garrett liked the horses. I swear this child is the animal whisperer. All animals seem to love him!! Some pretty unique flowers around the grounds. Of course Garrett had to stop and smell them. These places must know I'm coming with all the cheesy photo opportunities. I love it!! He loves me....he really loves me ;) He even looks like a little scoundrel, LOL!! Oh man, he is so much my kid. I didn't put him up to any of this. Love his facial expressions, he knows just what to do, bahahaha!! My favorite thing about these places we visit, is how they incorporate a love for learning. Especially those kids who are like mine and are very hands on!! Playing outside while we wait for Daddy and Grandma! Really turned out to be a nice day spent together. We are really going to miss Grandma Sutton when she is gone!!
