We left Las Vegas around 11 AM this morning to head to Phoenix where we would be spending the night. We were a little concerned because the wind had picked up a little bit overnight. Tim did great driving the truck with the RV. We took our time appreciating the views. Garrett did great again. He has multiple toys in the back that we give to him so he doesn't get bored when he is awake. He uses his feet to play with all of them. I've never seen a kid use their feet more than ours, LOL.
We arrived in Phoenix around 5 PM we were originally going to stay at Phoenix Metro RV Park. When I called them they asked if one of us was over the age of 40 and then they asked if we had any children. I told them yes about the child and they advised they were not willing to take us in...WTH? I found it crazy since most of these parks are so empty and they usually let people stay during the summer months. Not only that are they going to say no Chinese People because they don't like Chinese? Plus aren't these old people just like kids anyhow, they all wear diapers and get cranky when they don't get their own way, Just kidding....sort of. We ended up going to Royal Palm MHC and RV Resort. They have the same rules but during the summer they don't apply. It was a very nice RV Park.
We met up with Dad and Barb and went to an Italian Restaurant for dinner. Garrett had his first taste of Spaghetti and boy did he like it!! He kept reaching for my plate for more. I love all of the new foods, the boy will pretty much eat anything we've put in front of him. He was even sucking on another lemon. Barb couldn't believe it. She was amazed that he wasn't even making a face. Yep, that's my boy!!
