Today we are leaving to go to Bend, OR. We are going to stay at the Riverhouse Hotel and Convention Center. We finally got on the road about 11:30 and went to Wendy's in Klamath Falls to eat lunch. Now mind you Garrett watches every little thing that Tim does. Tim was eating his french fries and dipping them in ketchup. Garrett was watching Tim and reached over to try to dip his fries in the ketchup. It was so cute!! So we gave Garrett an empty cup to dip his fries in, LOL.
We hit the road around noon to head to Bend which is about 3 hours away. The clouds were so neat. It almost looks like smoke billowing, but it was all clouds. I love the clouds along Klamath Lake it was so pretty.

Oregon is such a beautiful state. We love all the areas we have been able to explore!!
On our way it began raining and then we saw a rainbow. A reminder of God's promise to us :)
All of the snow in Bend had melted, but up on the mountain tops they still had it.
During the drive Bailey decided she needed to have some love so put her head on Garrett's car seat where he patted it for her.
We finally arrived at the hotel around 3 pm. We got to our room, was nice but a bit outdated. Garrett loved the fact that he could open and close the drawers. He was having fun putting his toys in and taking them out.
Tim gave Garrett his empty cup and straw and was trying to show him how to put the straw back in the cup. He was having fun with his daddy :)
For dinner we ate at the Crossings at the Riverhouse. Oh my goodness was it good!! I had the Filet Mignon and Tim had crabcakes and they were both excellent. We both had a glass of White Zinfandel Wine and it was also excellent. Was from one of their local wineries and was one of the best we have ever had. I love it when I can find a place that has Creme Brulee and this place had it. I have tried Creme Brulee in many places but none have been as good as when we went to Walt Disney World. Well I can tell you this place has Creme Brulee that is as good as Walt Disney. So good, yummy yummy.
Our hotel was right along the Deshutes River. Was so scenic.
We went back to the hotel room where Garrett had fun playing.
Think our dog misses having a tub?? The only dog who actually likes to take a bath...
Garrett enjoyed his bath time as well in a big tub.
Was a nice trip up and the area we are staying at is beautiful. You can smell the pine trees when you go outside, so it smells like Christmas :) Can't wait for tomorrow when we get to meet Santa!
