We've spent the past several days at our house getting more done to put our house on the market in April. We got to our house about 4 pm unloaded the truck and headed out to Bandido's in Lima for some Mexican food. Garrett was EXCELLENT!! Because he was so good he was able to ride the bull that was in the waiting area on the way out. The next day Tim and Garrett were taking apart the bed so I could clean up and shampoo the carpet in our master bedroom. Garrett does such a good job helping his dad. He hasn't been feeling well the last several days so it's nice to see him feeling a little better!! After they got the bed out I started vacuuming. Garrett also wanted to help with that. Who am I to argue, LOL :) He got tired of helping me and headed out to help dad with building the wall in our 1/2 bath. I continued on shampooing the carpet, wiping down the walls, and cleaning up the room. What the finished product looks like. I've now finished all of the bedrooms. Next up......Main Bathroom!! While Garrett was napping I was making our crust for the Cauliflower Pizza. This time instead of using raw cauliflower I used the cauliflower rice. I think it turned out great!! Plus it's good for you!! If you want the recipe you can go to Sandy's Kitchen and look under Medifast Recipes. She has a lot of good stuff on her website!! After dinner Tim and Garrett put the bed back in the Master Bedroom. I love that Garrett wants to help!! We then started looking for a good family movie to watch. I saw Cool Runnings and in the spirit of the Winter Olympics right now we decided to watch that. Garrett loved that!! He pretended that he was the bobsled driver. It was really imaginative. What a great family movie!! The next morning Tim and Garrett put together another lego and Garrett was having fun playing with it!! One last bobsled run in before we needed to get up and around to head back to Sidney!! Making sure Dad was commentating correctly :) As Tim was taking things out to the truck to pack up Garrett took out this stool and set it where the truck bed is so he could help as well. He would take the light weight things out, climb the steps and get up into the truck to put the things up in it. He didn't get help from either one of us on this, nor did we tell him to do it. He thought of this all on his own!! Alisha Wood has some competition with her monkey toes. Garrett might give you a run for your money, LOL :) Had a great couple of days getting things done on the house. Wish we could have gotten more accomplished than what we did but isn't that how it usually goes......
