We sure have been enjoying having Tim's Mom Linda (aka Grammy) here with us the last 3 weeks. Sunday Tim had off and we enjoyed going to the Cowboy boot store with her. Garrett's always horsing around, ha ha ha!!!

Monday morning when we woke up, Garrett wanted to help me make dinner (he ate more than he helped, lol) here he is putting/eating the cheese :)
After Breakfast we headed down to the playground. He decided he was going to be a Fireman. He has such a great imagination!!
Our last full day with Grammy :( Tim was showing her a new app on his phone that was a kangaroo jumping. Everyone was loving it!!
We woke Tim up about 1 pm and got on the road to head to Albuquerque about 3:30. We made it to the Drury Hotel where we will be staying for the night. We made the decision to eat dinner there because they have the evening drinks and snacks, but the snacks are more like a meal. After dinner Tim, myself and Garrett went down to the pool area. The water was COLD!! Took awhile for Tim to finally get in, but Garrett didn't care. It was a pool, LOL!!
We let him stick his legs in the hot tub, where he had fun splashing Dad. Garrett thought it was hilarious!!
The next morning Grammy had to get up early for her flight so Garrett and I said our goodbye's and Tim drove her to the airport. On the way there he said he saw a bunch of hot air balloons out. So cool!! We sure are going to miss her, but look forward to having her come out again and visit :)
That day we decided to go to a couple different stores to look for a tent while we were in the big city. So the first store we stopped at was REI. We love this store, but the tents were a little more than what we wanted to pay. So we went out for lunch at a Vegetarian Cafe (food was good) but I can't remember the name of it and never took a picture :( Then it was on to Cabela's. We looked around but again, couldn't find the tent for us. After that we decided to head home as Tim had to work the next day.
We had a great 3 weeks with Linda and was able to get quite a bit in for stuff to do with her. I'm thankful that she was able to ride out with me and help me with Garrett on the way out. These are memories that we will always remember and we all cherish them so much!! Thanks again Mom we love you very much and are so thankful for you!!
