This morning we headed out to Legoland. Traffic wasn't bad at all and we arrived about 8:15 heading into the parking area.
Some of the lego characters they had while you were driving in. It's amazing that they can put these together with just lego's!!
Getting ready to head towards the gate. The hotels looked like a really fun place to stay at!!
Heading to the gate. By now, Garrett was VERY excited!!
We made it!! This place had so many cool things to see before you even made it into the park!!
First stop......bathroom. Little people's sinks, and a cool mirror to see yourself in. Even the bathrooms here are awesome!!
Next stop was the photo center and guest relations. While I was at the photo center getting our all day pass for photos, Tim and Garrett went next door. They give out at no charge a free bracelet for kids in case they get lost to know what number to call. Garrett also got a free button saying it was his first time. Definitely a great place to stop!!
All done and ready to start exploring!! One of the first things you see is the huge lego dinosaur.
We let Garrett pretty much go where he wanted. It was after all his day. Next stop was saying "Hi" to the lego people!!
Is this the coolest bull or what??
While we were waiting to get let in one of the lands this worker was telling jokes. Garrett thought it was fascinating, LOL....
We were walking around a bit before the lands opened and they had a character out. We got to meet and take a picture with him. Garrett was unsure what to think.....luckily for us we were the last family they let meet and greet.
Waiting for Ninjago Land to open.
First stop was the Ninjago Ride. Garrett meeting new friends while in line, LOL :)
Getting our 3D glasses for the ride.
During the ride Garrett took off his glasses to see what the screen looked like, the ride jerked, and he lost his glasses on the floor. So I gave him mine. Hence the reason I have no glasses on in the pictures :(
We headed out of the building and right outside was a mini rock climbing wall. He only needed a little bit of assistance from me as the rock was pretty high up from his leg.
Lego Ninjago's everywhere!!
Next stop was AquaZone Wave Racers. This was a 42" ride and we weren't sure if Garrett was able to hit it. He just made it!! So that means every ride in the park Garrett will be able to ride!! Woohoo!!
Then the spinners. All we kept hearing from Garrett was faster, faster!!
Then it was time.....Garrett's first ever roller coaster!! He was so excited!!
He did GREAT!! Loved every minute of it. His face is priceless :)
He then saw the airplanes and wanted to ride those with dad :)
Next roller coaster was The Dragon!!
Next stop....The Jumping Beetle!! This ride was just ok.
We then went and had lunch at the Pizza Buffet. It was really yummy!! On our way to the back of the park after we were done we saw all kinds of cool lego statues along the way!! Garrett's favorite....the spider!!
Next stop was the new submarine ride. We saw a lot of cool statues, and the ride was a lot of fun!!
We then passed by the place to build, we stayed in this area for over an hour while Garrett played with blocks and other kids. It was probably his favorite area!!
Tim and I enjoying the shade while Garrett played.
Then it was on to the Knights Tournament ride. This ride spins you around, puts you upside down....or so we thought. Unfortunately that is for the older kids. Garrett got to go real slow.....boring!! We would have skipped this ride had we known that!! The sad thing is, we waited in line the longest for this ride :(
Garrett showing me on the map where we were :)
Next in line to ride Captain Cranky's Challenge!!
On the way out we ran into some Pirate's playing musicians!
Garrett then decided he wanted to ride the boats. These he was able to steer and of course he loved that!!
We then headed towards the fire trucks and police cars. Lots of cool things to see along the way!!
Time to put our fire/police skills to the test and see who would win. We literally did this ride 3 times in a row. One of Garrett's favorite things!!
Next stop driving school. Garrett did so good. Another favorite that we did several times!! He even got a drivers license at this one :)
Next ride.....Kid Powertower. Garrett rode this one with Tim and loved it!!
More cool pictures :)
Next roller coaster.....The Coastasaurus!
Taking a little break along the way.
Finding our penny machine souvenirs along the way!
The mini lego land. Oh my goodness!! This place was amazing. The pictures don't do a bit of justice to what this place actually looks like!!
Legoland closed at 5 pm, however, the legoland aquarium stayed open till 6 pm. So after we were done inside we headed over to the legoland aquarium. It was so different and so much fun!! They had these stations where you punched a card and learned some things about that area!! So much fun!!
Heading out now and just catching a couple other pictures before we go!!
Legoland was so much fun!! The next couple of days we will be staying with our Nephew and his wife. Garrett didn't make it one minute in the truck before he was out!!
We finally arrived at David & Martyna's house. Garrett had fun playing in their back yard and we were enjoying our view!! Such a great day!!
