Teresa has never been on the Million Dollar Highway in Colorado. So this morning we headed out to drive it and take lots of photos along the way!! 2 large dogs, 1 child, and 3 adults in a dually truck....of course we can make it work :)

Colorado is probably some of the most beautiful land I have ever seen!!

We stopped in Silverton for lunch and ate at the Kendall Mountain Cafe. I had the Reuben and it was soooo yummy!! Definitely would eat here again.
Aren't the decorations on the wall so cool!! We sat at that back table and really enjoyed looking at everything they had on their walls!!
Garrett saw this trolley on the way out and was so intrigued by it.
This picture was taken looking through the town from where the cafe was located. These residents sure do have an awesome view!!
I told Garrett next time we come he can do the rocks and pan for treasure. It was a really cold day today and we didn't have a lot of time. He picked out the gun at one of the local stores. He sure played with that for the rest of the day!!
Make sure you read the signs on the bathroom. Some of them are so funny!!

It was time to get back on the road. We made a turn off the main road to check out some campgrounds. Look at how beautiful this area is!!
While Tim was out taking pictures he got this shot of Garrett standing out of our sunroof. I swear this kid uses the sunroof more than anyone else, LOL!!

We went through several tunnels.
We stopped here at this bridge and was able to watch the waterfalls. This area is right before you get into Ouray. So pretty!!

We finally made it into Ouray and decided to stop at BonTon's to have dinner. It was soooo good!!
Garrett and I headed back outside after dinner while Tim and Teresa waited for the checks. This way he could run for a little bit before we headed back home.

We also saw a herd of deer. So awesome!!
One last picture to end our day. Was such an awesome and fun day!! We saw lots of cool things and got some ideas on where to go tent camping.
